Full Job Description:

As a Sales Technician, your role will encompass a multifaceted combination of sales and technical expertise. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical products or services and potential customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Technical Sales Support: You will be responsible for technical support of inbound and outbound sales activities. This involves engaging with prospective clients, understanding their technical requirements, and effectively communicating how our products meet their needs through email, phone or in person.
  • Technical Assistance: You will serve as a resource for customers, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting support, and facilitating the creation of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) when necessary.
  • Application Evaluation: Assessing and qualifying potential applications for our products, conducting rigorous evaluation and testing, and compiling comprehensive reports to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Data Collection Coordination: Designing and coordinating the collection of data to characterize system specifications. You will work closely with engineering and assembly teams to ensure accurate and relevant data is gathered.
  • Data Analysis and Processing: Once data is collected, you will be responsible for analyzing and processing it to present meaningful charts, graphs, and tables, which will be used by the sales department to inform customers about the system specifications.
  • Publication of Findings: Sharing the results of system characterizations and technical evaluations through various means, including reports, presentations, and documentation, to educate both internal teams and external clients.


  • Technical background in a related field (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science, or a relevant technical discipline).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sales experience and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficient in using technical software tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Experience in technical sales or a related background in the light curing industry is a plus.
  • As a Technical Sales Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving technical product or service adoption by providing invaluable insights and support to both the sales and technical teams, ultimately contributing to the success and growth of the organization.
