Removable lamp head
The hand-held head
contains a long life 400-Watt metal halide type lamp, which emits
up to 500mW/cm2
of evenly distributed, UVA light
(315–400nm). Typical lamp life is 1000 hours. The top
surface of the lamp head also has threaded inserts for
attachment to a customer's fixture, conveyor or automated
machine.
Auto-Range AC
line input
The Auto-Ranging
90-132 / 180-265 VAC line input makes the PORTA-RAY
easy to use in any country, with no wiring changes or voltage
select switching required.
Lamp power regulation
The system’s switch mode
power supply maintains constant lamp power regardless of
variations in AC line input or lamp voltages. This regulation
provides for repeatable curing times and longer lamp life.
Standby mode
The unit features a standby
mode rocker switch, which reduces lamp power by one half. This
mode can be used to reduce heat and stray UV light output while
the system is not in use.
Curing
Chamber / Headrest
The System includes a 4.5 x
7.25 x 1.75" curing chamber with a pull-out drawer for
shielded curing of small parts.
Forced air cooling
Integrated cooling fans in
both the lamp head and power supply insure cool operation and high
system reliability.
Optional
lamp spectrums
The
PortaRay is available with
UVA,
UVB &
visible spectrum lamps,
which insure compatibility with adhesives and coatings of all
